Review of Concrete Locust 7" by Krogh of ATTACK! fanzine:Close your eyes and drift away to the music just to abrupt and brutally get torn back to reality in the shape of blast-beat grind. They kinda manages to capture life with their music don't they? At times I feel this is what emo (screamo) would sound like if it actually were good. But with the blast-beats of course. This is pretty great mood filled grind - desperation and angst are the keywords here. The sound-production is really heavy and thick which is a necessity when it comes to stuff like this. If not it just falls flat, but not this. To be honest I had my expectations higher on this but it's still a great record. Especially the tracks "Impressions of choice" and "The greater fog" whom are really, really great. A solid debut, can't go wrong from here - unless they turn all arty and crappy.
